After 15 years of retail store management, Emily decided it was time for a new adventure—and this year, she jumped into the world of permitting! It’s a whole new skill set, but Emily loves a good challenge and enjoys learning, problem-solving, and figuring things out along the way. She’s excited to bring her years of experience working with people and managing all the moving pieces into her new role.
When she’s not helping move permits along, Emily is busy being Mom to two little ones. Her daughter just started Kindergarten, while her toddler is busy exploring the world one adventure at a time. Needless to say, life outside of work is never boring!
Emily is also working on developing another skill: gardening! While she wouldn’t quite call herself a gardening expert yet, she’s learning as she goes and enjoying the process of figuring out what makes things grow. Much like permitting, parenting, and pretty much everything else in life, she’s a believer in learning by doing!
Emily is always up for learning something new, taking on a challenge, and growing along the way—sometimes literally!
